Lower Elementary Lead Teacher
Eliza graduated from the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Science. She also minored in Sustainable Agriculture and worked for several years practicing organic farming and teaching environmental education. From there she worked for the Kentucky Division of Air Quality as an environmental scientist before an opportunity arose in a Montessori elementary school in Georgetown, Ky, where she assisted for almost three years. Eliza found Montessori education to be a culmination of so many of the things she loves to learn and to teach and it is offered in a way that inspires and guides young minds to meet their greatest potential.
After working as an assistant, Eliza knew that she had found the area of education that she had been searching for and decided to pursue her AMI Montessori Elementary training to become a lead guide. She will complete her training course and Master of Education next summer. Eliza is so excited to join the MSL lower elementary team and to inspire children through cosmic education.
